| Hi to all - Thanks to a long lost cousin, Betty Jones, I have been getting alot of info on my Peterson/Gaston families - but would like more, if you have it. Gr. Grandfather, Jasper Peterson, grandfather, John Pence Peterson, father, Howard Gaston Peterson (his sister was Gertrude Peterson Hill). I would appreciate any info that you have on that family. | Do you have anything on the Thomas S. Morris family of Weston WV in or about 1850? His second wife, Susannah Bouse was my great grandmother, and their children were Susan Lorene (my grandmother), Elizabeth Augusta, and John Emory Bouse. They were all born in the 1850's. Thomas earlier was married to Prudence White, and they had several daughters, one being Mary, and another Rachael.

| Hi, I am a Dodrill from southern Ohio. I am a decendant of English Bill through the Col. Ewing Family. While in Virginia, George Dodrill married Elizabeth Ewing. Then the Ewing family moved to the Ohio Valley. I grew up in Ewington a town named after my gr-gr-gr something grandfather. I am not very far down that family tree. I would like to ask a question to anyone who knows. English Bill's wife Rebeka Lewis, was she any relation to the Lewis of Lewis and Clark? I have very much of the history of my family. There are many versions. I perfer to believe the one written by the Ewing family because Col. Ewing and Indian John, his brother were pretty important people and there is much written then and now about them and their past. |
