We vacationed at Holly River State Park from July 11 - 18 of this year and came by the library just after you'd closed. We did stop and take photos and enjoyed seeing the building. We'll be back in two or three years. Sorry we missed all of you; we'll aim for early August next time.

I'm new and wonder if anyone can help with my Curtis family. Jesse Curtis and Elizabeth Cooper Lewis couunty,
any on their children>
one of their sons William Marlow Curtis married Adalain Flesher ending in divorce (I have papers) Her brother and William were good friends and both ended up here in Michigan. I have from him and his next 2 marriages. What I would like is information about his life in WV he was never a talker and would not tell his children anything of the WV family. I have found some items, I wonder what happened to his first wife Adalain Flesher Curtis I dont believe that they had any children together but not sure. They were married for quite awhile. She would not move here to Grand Ledge, Michigan and William wanted to so he did, her brother Leonadis was already here.
Any help on this family I would love to share what I have in return.
Sue

I am looking for connection to John Waggoner, who lived in Hackers Creek and Jesse's Run. His family had an encounter with Tecumseh with members of the family killed and captured in and around 1793-94 according to book by Withers.
I can not exactly figure out where this location is or that of Clarksburg mentioned in the book. Can you help me?

I live in the U.K. My ancestors are Rusmisells' from Virginia and West Virginia (Buckhannon). I have recently visited the old Beechtown Cemetery, Frenchton to see my great great grandfather's grave, Dr Adam P. Rusmisell. I do have a lot of information on this family, but am very interested to find out more. (joe.bussey@tiscali.co.uk)
