The pictures from the Cheuvront Bible were taken at my house by Linda, Stephanie, Dorothy, Leslie and myself.

Stephanie has continual refused to have the bible authenticated. After getting a new scanner and printer this year and printing out the bible pages, I understand why she has been relutant to do so.

When I print out the pictures of the Bible pages on the new photo printer you can see that two different colors of ink were used on several lines and/or words. When using a magnifing glass you can see where someone has written over the words to either close letters or darken the writing. After speaking with Mrs. Mitchell's husband I discovered she had purchased a caligraphy pen and some brown ink and he saw her marking on the bible pages.

Mrs Mitchell has no right to sell any informattion from the Bible as she and her husband are in the process of obtaining a divorce and the bible is listed as maritial property with the final custody yet to be decided.

I really want to use these pages for research, but knowing there are issues with all the writing being original I honestly feel the entire Bible must be authenticated to verify all information being shared with unsuspecting readers.

I am researching Robert and Mary Ross of Augusta and Bath counties and their descendants. Their children were born between about 1772 and 1791 and (may have) included Martha, Polly, Rebecca, Samuel, James, John Anderson, Elizabeth (my g/g/g/grandmother, who bore children with but never married William Douglas b. 1767 Fauquier Co.), Thomas and Mary.

These families eventually spread out to Bath, Lewis, Braxton, Wayne and Harrison Counties. They married primarily with the Corley/Cauley, Putnam, Griffith, Scott, Adkins, Napier, Linkswiler and Windon families.

I would appreciate contact from others researching this family. I can be reached at dlr94306 @ yahoo.com (be sure to remove the spaces).

1. I would like to know if there is a Talbott Reunion this year. If so when and where is it and who can I contact about it?
I am a descendant of Richard Talbott and Margaret Dowden.

2. Is there a Talbott Association in West Virginia? I have had no luck with the DNA Talbott Association. Appearently Talbott's are not into finding out about their DNA. That's alright, I'm just interest in making contact with people doing research on the Richard and Cottrill Talbott families.
