I am looking for connection to John Waggoner, who lived in Hackers Creek and Jesse's Run. His family had an encounter with Tecumseh with members of the family killed and captured in and around 1793-94 according to book by Withers.
I can not exactly figure out where this location is or that of Clarksburg mentioned in the book. Can you help me?

I live in the U.K. My ancestors are Rusmisells' from Virginia and West Virginia (Buckhannon). I have recently visited the old Beechtown Cemetery, Frenchton to see my great great grandfather's grave, Dr Adam P. Rusmisell.
